Thomas M. Link, MD, Ph.D, Professor of Radiology, Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, UCSF, San Francisco, USA Thomas M. Link is Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Clinical Director of the Musculoskeletal and Quantitative Imaging Research Group in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at UCSF. Dr. Link is a recognized international leader in MSK radiology, he has written over 500 peer reviewed articles and several textbooks. His expertise focuses particularly on imaging of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, cartilage and bone tumors. Dr. Link’s research work is funded by the National Institutes of Health and he is also Program Director of a National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering funded T32 training grant. Dr. Link is Editor-in-Chief of Skeletal Radiology and serves on the Editorial Boards of Radiology, Osteoarthritis and Cartilage, and European Radiology.
